Learning path: safer first 30 days with crypto tools

This page is a curriculum, not a signal board. Read in order when you can. Skip leverage until the early modules feel boring.

Module 0 — Mindset (day 1)

Exit criteria: You can explain, offline, what problem you are solving (learning vs gambling).

Module 1 — Domain & phishing hygiene

Exit criteria: You only open the exchange from a bookmark you created yourself.

Module 2 — Account security stack

Exit criteria: Unique passwords, authenticator 2FA, backup codes offline, no withdrawal-enabled API keys “just in case.”

Module 3 — Fees & cost literacy

Exit criteria: You can predict roughly which fee class a fill used and check it in history.

Module 4 — Platform operations

Exit criteria: You complete a tiny deposit and tiny withdrawal on a tested route without rushing.

Module 5 — Risk concepts (still mostly no leverage)

Exit criteria: You can refuse leverage without FOMO—and explain blast radius in plain language.

Module 6 — Custody choices

Exit criteria: You chose a custody mode with a written threat model—not a meme.
